Purpose
The STUART-Grant Program, funded by a grant from the Winthrop Rockeffeller Foundation, provides funds to Arkansas public middle school teachers to use technology for science instruction.
Program Description
The Arkansas Science & Technology Authority's STUART-Grant Program provides a $5,500 award to Arkansas teachers in grades 5, 6, 7, and 8 to purchase a classroom participation system, a projector and a laptop computer.
Eligible Users
Arkansas public middle school teachers of science are eligible for a STUART-Grant Program award from the Authority.
How to Participate
All applicants must complete STUART Grant Program applications. All applications must address the new 2006 state science framework.

Evaluation
Applications are evaluated by a selection committee chosen by the Authority.
